Well-Known Member. I can tell you that with our lift kits, in order to not run into any rubbing issues on control arms or fenders, we usually recommend 2.5" of lift on a Sport/Sahara model JL in order to fit 35" tires. Rubicon models can fit up to 37's perfectly on a 2.5" lift.
